FET Flagship Pilots in "Le Monde"
Six projets sont en lice dans une compétition inédite lancée par la Commission européenne : imaginer les technologies d'après-demain. A la fin de l'année, un jury d'experts décidera quels sont le ou les deux projets gagnants de cette "course", avec à la clé un budget global de 1 milliard d'euros sur dix ans à partir de 2013.

The FET Flagship Pilots Final Conference presented the results and visions of the six Flagship candidates. It also provided an opportunity to hear about the European Commission's strategy for the future implementation of the FET Flagships, both in FP7 and Horizon 2020.(Brussels 9 July 2012.)

The FET Flagship Pilots Midterm Conference
Following discussions between the Commission representatives, the Scientific Counsellor of the Polish Representation to the EU and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, both universities in Warsaw have agreed at presidential level to support the organisation of this conference that lasted for 2 days, 24th and 25th November 2011.

Science beyond fiction
The European Future Technologies Conference and Exhibition 2011 was the second instalment of a new forum dedicated to frontier research in information and communication technologies, a unique conference on visionary, high-risk and long-term research in information science and technology. Featuring an exceptionally broad range of scientific fields the event will seed new ideas across disciplines that will reshape the future.
