Introduction
The FP7 ICT Work Programme 2011-2012 defines the priorities for the next wave of calls for proposals to be launched. The priorities are faithful to the FP7 Framework Programme and Specific Programme decisions and in line with the main ICT policy priorities as defined in the i2010 initiative and the Digital Agenda. They reflect the input received from the Programme Committee and Advisory Group, the European Technology Platforms and a series of detailed consultations with the main stakeholders. The role of ICT Research and Development funded in FP7 in driving innovation is recognised in the European Commission's March 2009 Communication on "A Strategy for R&D and innovation in Europe: Raising the Game". For more information on input and consultations to the Work Programme please visit this page.
