Descrizione del progetto Preparing large scale deployment of targeted services to support active and healthy ageing ¿ Telehealth programmes for the management of mental disorders Mostra l’obiettivo del progetto Nascondi l’obiettivo del progetto The MasterMind Consortium to avoid dispersing efforts has narrowed the scope of the services to just one, non-organic, mental disorder: depression. This because of its high incidence, social cost and proven clinical effectiveness of ICT in its treatment. MasterMind intends to implement at scale: 1) evidence based computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (cCBT) services for depressed adults (more than 5.000 patient overall) . 2) Video conference for Collaborative Care and treatment of depression (ccVC). Both services will be deployed across 10 EU and Associated Countries and from this implementation, the project will: identify the barriers and success factors to implement cCBT and ccVC on a large scale in different political, social, economic and technical health care contexts and from the perspective of different stakeholders such as patients, professionals and health insurances; recommend successful strategies for implementing cCBT and ccVC in these different contexts/settings. Using the lessons learnt, the Consortium will develop guidelines and a toolkit for promoting and facilitating the broader implementation across Europe of a safe, effective and efficient service which I supported by relevant stakeholders. The project will support the roll-out of cCBT in other (committed) regions of the EU. By involving regions and healthcare providers outside of the Consortium, the knowledge and experiences from the project will be transferred and re-used in their implementation of the services. This will extend the outreach of the deployment to more citizens in Europe.The outcome of the service will be evaluated using a widespread HTA-based rigorous multi-dimensional evaluation methodology, MAST, already in use in other Pilots A.
