New paradigms for high efficiency blue emitters for white OLEDS

Livrables

Report on performance tests conducted with white OLED stack tandem units

The report will contain information about the performance tests of OLED stack tandem units. The resulted data will be utilized in the producing optimal white OLED stack with high power efficacy and long lifetime.

Project website

The deliverable will contain information on the project website and plans regarding its content management during the project.

Report on life cycle assessment

To understand the expected reduction in environmental impact of the new technology, Intelligentsia will conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) study to evaluate and compare the new TADF based OLEDs with existing phosphorescent OLEDs. The LCA will enable quantification of the impacts associated with the use of different raw materials and energy sources, as well as with the emission of contaminants in each life cycle phase of the OLEDs. The LCA will be based on the ReCiPe methodology (www.lcia-recipe.net), which was previously used in the FP7 Fast2light project.

Report on OLED lighting panel demonstrators

The report will contain information about the validation of the development of the white stacks. Novaled will fabricate OLED demonstrators. The demonstrators will be performance tested and promoted at conferences, congresses and trade shows. In order to show the versatility of the new white stacks, demonstrators will be produced with and without outcoupling for one size (2x2cm2).

Promotional material (Powerpoint presentation, short film, leaflet and poster)

The report will contain information regarding the promotional materials of the project, namely: • Project leaflet (2 pages, A4 size) and project poster (A1 size), • PowerPoint presentation providing overview of the project and expected achievements, • Short film about the project will be published on Youtube and the project website • News releases over the duration of the project,
