Ziel

Development and application of a method for detecting defects in hot-rolled strip using electro-magneto-acoustic means and Rayleigh waves. The aim is to increase the signal- to-noise ratio and thereby to detect and classify the defects according to their nature, size and orientation. The assembly constructed will be used on-line, in a high-alloy steel annealing and pickling line.
