Determination of aluminium in steels using plasma spectrometry

The aim of the research is the determination of trace levels of aluminium down to about 0,0001% in steel by means of ICP-spectrometry. A special sample preparation method will be used involving extraction in an organic medium. The spectral analysis will be undertaken by a spectrometry with a plasma source.
