Objectif

The aim of this work is to overcome certain limitations of applying laser welding techniques in the fabrication of steels. Contamination that occurs in the laser welding of coated sheet (metallic and organic) and its effect on weld integrity will be of particular interest. For industrial programmation reasons, the contract will start on the 1st April 1990.
