Obiettivo

This project is aimed at developing infracritical heat treatments of AISI 430 grades with differing C and N contents in order to improve mechanical properties without impairing corrosion resistance. The microstructure, texture evolution and homogeneity of the metal will be studied and the treatments will be correlated with any changes in properties.
