Ziel

This research is intended to determine optimised adhesion conditions between paint and the surface conversion layer of zincates, aluminates and tinned strip and to investigate the effects of passivation on surface conversion layers. Photopotential techniques will be used in this project since they have provided good results in identifying semi-conductor properties and are capable of demonstrating the solid state characteristics of surface layers.
