Obiettivo
Aims of project:
Improving the working conditions of workers engaged in raking-out bunkers containing raw and pulverized coal in the EmileyHuchet power station, with the emphasis on decreasing the duration of the raking-out operation and reducing its arduousness by studying working positions.
Aims of the research:
Qualitative analysis of the factors producing bad working conditions for raking-out the two types of bunkers (by means of interviews, examination of working positions, analysis of the problems caused by dust and gas emissions, etc.).
Formulation of proposals and carrying out of tests to improve the flow of coal in the bunkers and reduce build-up on the walls, in order to minimize the duration of the raking operation.
Implementation of the proposals in all bunkers concerned at the Emile Huchet power station.
