Ziel
Aims of the project:
To provide computer application developers with an "aid" which would help to produce:-
man/computer interfaces based on ergonomic criteria;
promote the application of Council Directive of 29 May 1990 on the minimum safety and health requirements for work with display screen equipment;
supply developers with ways and means to work more quickly and more efficiently.
Future users of computer applications will be:-
supplied with interfaces which offer a greater degree of homogeneity as well as improved ergonomic features;
helped to overcome some of the problems connected with the acquisition of skills.
Both from the point of view of the developer and the future end user the aim is to boost productivity by improving ergonomic aspects of the tools available to operators.
