Technologies for using renewable energies represent an important part of sustainable future development. However, such technologies have so far played only a very marginal role in vocational education. In terms of vocational preparation and guidance, such topics are almost entirely ignored. The aim of this project is to motivate disadvantaged young people to improve their chances of receiving adequate vocational training by familiarising them with such forward-looking technologies, with due regard for their own personal abilities. The objective is to counteract the isolation of these young people from the labour market.
The project partners from Germany, Spain and Denmark are all involved in the practical sphere of vocation guidance and preparation and have differing levels of experience in the areas of environmental education and renewable energy sources. The varying circumstances prevailing in the respective countries and institutions are to be taken into account by means of an intensive exchange of experience and incorporated into the revision of the modules. These modules will enable individual topics to be dealt with under varying temporal and institutional conditions.
Impact
The project partners will share the work in developing and practically testing structurally identical modules on the topics of ecological awareness and photovoltaic and solar thermal technologies.
