Objectif Every year in the transport sector, there are a large number of occupational accidents, injuries incurred by "third persons" and damage to vehicles, equipment and goods transported due to insufficient securing of loads. The problem is likely to grow as more goods are transported and as an increasing amount of interchanges take place between different modes of transport. The partnership aims to establish a minimum standard for securing loads in the EU and to prepare relevant training tools, i.e. handbooks and a video. The training programme will be modular and will be available on a distance learning and an on-the-job basis. Although the project is currently restricted to groupage traffic, efforts will be made to make sure that methods and equipment are applicable to other modes of transport. The work will entail the following:- analysis of basic conditions for securing loads with respect to existing technique and regulations; - analysis of current knowledge/skill-levels;- agreement on the desired level of basic knowledge;- survey of existing training courses and training media;- production of new teaching/training media.ImpactThe project will hopefully lead to common regulations for securing loads, which stipulate that individuals doing this work are sufficiently skilled. An impact on initial and trainer training curricula is also expected.Contract number : S/96/1/00940/PI/I.1.1.b/IVTDomaine : IVTContents : Vocational qualifications Self-training and distance learning Products : Training modules Semi-autonomous/ flexible training Video cassette Public : Workers in companies Trainers, designers & managers of training programmes Young people in training Programme(s) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Thème(s) I.1.1.b - Continuing vocational training arrangements Appel à propositions Data not available Régime de financement CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinateur TYA - TRANSPORTFACKENS YRKES- OCH ARBETSMILJÖNÄMND Contribution de l’UE Aucune donnée Adresse 171 26 Solna Suède Voir sur la carte Coût total Aucune donnée
