INFORMATION FLOW ON FOOD TECHNOLOGY, FOOD SAFETY AND HEALTHY EATING TO SMEs AND CONSUMERS 'FLAIR FLOW'

FLAIR-FLOW operated via national networks in each of the 16 participating countries. Each network had an average 20 members giving a total of about 320 members in 16 countries. FLAIR-FLOW used three main routes for dissemination: simple one-page documents (three per month) on technical results of the 32 research projects of FLAIR; targeted workshops on FLAIR results in the 16 countries with speakers selected from the almost 600 researchers in the FLAIR programme; active participation by FLAIR-FLOW network members of FLAIR researchers in conferences, trade fairs and related areas. The one-page documents were translated from English into the language of the country by the national network leader and contained the fax number of the researcher carrying out the research. These documents apart from been published to special editions or sent by direct mail to the interesting parties, were also reproduced in trade, scientific and other journals in Europe.
