Obiettivo This project aims to develop a rapid unequivocal diagnostic system to enable the various species and strains involved in these diseases to be distinguished to the level plant pathologists require. The project will first characterize the diverse species groups within Colletotrichum, which attack strawberries, and then develop rapid tests to distinguish them. These 2 parts of the project are inextricably linked, as many of the results derived in the first part are prerequisite for the second.
