Objective Construction and monitoring of 17 low energy houses in Haarlem (The Netherlands) including reinforced insulation, air solar panels and heat recovery. Expected energy savings : 30 % of gas consumption compared with traditional houses.1. Utilization of triple glazing or improved double glazing, together with low heat emissivity curtains. Reinforcement of the insulation thickness.2. Air solar panels including a heat storage for the purpose of warm air-heating and production of domestic hot water. A gas boiler provides auxiliary heating.3. Heat recovery on extracted air (mechanical ventilation) and heat recovery on the exhausted gas from the auxiliary gas boiler.
