Obiettivo

The (232)Th(n,2n)(231)Th reaction cross section of the formation of the radio-toxic nuclide (232)U in the Th cycle, will be measured with the activation method. Neutrons will be produced at the TANDEM accelerator of the NCSR Demokritos, Athens, Greece.
