The project aims at developing a novel management methodology to support extended enterprises in their implementation process of e-business strategies and so to enhance competitiveness in an ever-increasing turbulent environment with special focus on the complexities of the whole supply chain. The project adopts a dual approach: a macroscopic market approach and a microscopic organizational approach and synthesizes both into a personalised e-business roadmap for facilitation of strategic decisions. The objectives of the project are the development of an enabling methodology for the implementation, adaptation and optimisation of e-business strategies covering the whole supply chain, its validation in a representative constellation of test cases, its facilitation through software based application aids and its launch on the market for industrial adoption and the exploitation of a new content management service with e-business focus.
