The centre profile:
Research in support of the management and development objectives of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and other wetland of national and international importance in the following areas :
1. Conservation of biodiversity and sustainable use of the natural resources
2. Harmonisation relationship between social -economic systems and natural systems
3. Restoration of damaged ecosystems and recovering endangered species
4. Development of information system, GIS applications and modelling.
