The proposed measure aims to bring together up to 40 researchers from the EU and from developing countries - partially active in EU-funded projects - during teeth European Nitrogen Fixation Conference to be held in September 2000 in Sevilla,Spain. The Conference will offer a special oral session were selected speakers will have the opportunity to present their results. All participants invited will also contribute to the poster session. For publication of the results presented especial issue of the Journal of Biotechnology will be prepared. In summary, the measure will provide a platform where researchers from developing countries and the European Union will meet, exchange their results and discuss the state of theatre and emerging aspects of biological nitrogen fixation.
