Characterisation of bromo, a respiratory burst oxidase in the development of root hair cells of arabidopsis

Objective

Active oxygen species (AOS) are involved in stress response but their involvement in developmental control is poorly studied. The characterisation of the Arabidopsis bromo mutant, a mutant in NADPH-oxidase-related gene affected in root hair elongation, will characterise the role of AOS during root hair development.
