Objective To strengthen a local network in the departments of the region Rhône Alpes and to carry out A.E.G. (Audits Energétiques Globaux) for cities between 2 000 and 10 000 inhabitants.About sixty A.E.G have been achieved.A final report will be available at the end of 1994.Energy studies are proposed to decision makers ; they mainly consist of A.E.G (Audits Energétiques Global).The target is the cities the population of which is between 2 000 and 10 000 inhabitants ; there are 380 of them in Rhône Alpes and they lodge a quarter of the overall population of the region.The A.E.G. pays a particular attention to set up a complete check-up of the energy consumption of a local authority, to calculate ratios in order to propose immediate improving solutions or more deep analysis and to analyse the problems of management (monitoring and Targeting, technical management, maintenance).It is an excellent tool which allows a local authority to get first concrete results in the field of energy savings (the more evident and the more profitable solutions and to undertake more specific actions depending on their priorities.Private consultants carry out the studies under the authority of the steering structure.
