Objetivo The main objective of this project is to demonstrate by experimental buildings that steel can be used economically in low-energy housing in a cold climate using previously developed sections, components and solutions. The objective is to reduce the costs of heating energy in the experimental houses by about 50 % compared with conventionally constructed houses. The results of this demonstration project will be that: - two experimental low-energy steel houses will be constructed (one with prefabricated components and the other with pre-cut sections); - heating energy requirements for these houses will be of the order of 50 % compared with conventional housing; - suitability for commercial production of certain components will be tested in practice; - design and construction guidelines will be produced for architects, engineers Programa(s) ECSC-STEELRES 8C - Medium-term guidelines (ECSC) for the programmes of technical steel research and of steel pilot/demonstration projects, 1991-1995 Tema(s) F6 - Steel structures Convocatoria de propuestas Data not available Régimen de financiación CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinador RAUTARUUKKI OY Aportación de la UE Sin datos Dirección Fredrikinkatu 51-53 00101 HELSINKI Finlandia Ver en el mapa Coste total Sin datos
