Objetivo Objective To isolate from tomato regulatory gene sequences that control isoprene formation in fruit that control isoprene formation in fruit. This will be achieved by:1. Preparation of an activation tang T -DNA vector containing Cam 35 S enhancers and phone syntheses promoter2. Transformation of the Micro tom variety of tomato with the T DNA vectors and tissue culture3. Regeneration of transgenic plants and phenotypic analysis by metabolite profiling of isoprenoids4. Detailed analysis of fruit for altered carotenoid/isoprenoid changes5. Characterisation of T DNA insertions of plants with altered isoprene levels6. Generation of stable progeny and confirmation of phenotype by retransformation of tagged sequences Ámbito científico natural sciencesbiological sciencesgeneticsDNAagricultural sciencesagriculture, forestry, and fisheriesagriculturehorticulturefruit growing Programa(s) FP5-LIFE QUALITY - Specific Programme for research, technological development and demonstration on "Quality of life and management of living resources", 1998-2002 Tema(s) 1.1.1.-4. - Key action Environment and Health Convocatoria de propuestas Data not available Régimen de financiación RGI - Research grants (individual fellowships) Coordinador ROYAL HOLLOWAY AND BEDFORD NEW COLLEGE Aportación de la UE Sin datos Dirección Egham Hill TW20 0EX EGHAM,SURREY Reino Unido Ver en el mapa Coste total Sin datos
