Descripción del proyecto Programme Level Accompanying Measures Mostrar el objetivo del proyecto Ocultar el objetivo del proyecto The objective of SITE is to increase cooperation between Russian and EU researchers in the area of the IST Priority. The project will focus on the Sibirsky region of Russia, and achieve its objectives by: 1. Establishing and training a multilevel support network of Regional Centres and European Offices in Russian organisations with substantial research expertise in IST. The support network will promote the IST Priority to research teams and help them understand its objectives and procedures; 2. Supporting partnering between EU and Russian researchers by developing a partnering mechanism and organising real and virtual brokerage events; 3. Providing help to EU and Russian researchers who are developing joint proposals with advice and support, through a knowledge base, e-training for proposers, and proposal review. The measurable results which will be achieved through the project are: 1. Eight regional centres and 56 European Offices within Russian organisations with substantial research expertise in IST will be trained so that they can explain how Russian research teams can participate in the IST Priority; 2. A partnering database of profiles of 320 Russian research teams will be developed. The profiles will describe the organisation, its research interests and any ideas for collaborative projects and the types of partners required; 3. The partnering activity will help establish 20 continuing relationships between research teams in the EU and Russia. A much larger number of EU researchers will become aware of the potential to collaborate with teams in the Sibirsky region; 4. Ten joint EU-Russian teams will be assisted in proposal preparation.
