Objetivo

This research is intended to develop a verified user-orientated numerical simulation tool for thin sheet forming processes. This will enable reliable theoretical predictions of the forming process to be made. This type of software needs to be integrated with CAD facilities in order to gain ready acceptance by industry and verified with regard to material properties, frictional contact and blank holder characteristics.
