Airborn ice-droplet measurement equipment for Germany
The Commission of the European Communities has established that the apparatus known as "Particle Measuring Systems - Aircraft Mountable AT Compatible Particle Data System, Model PDS-500, with two-dimensional Optical Array Greyscale Probe in Cloud Droplet Formation, Model OAP - 2D-GA2, Grey Probe Adaptor and 16-Channel Analogue Input Adaptor" may be imported free of import duties. This apparatus, the subject of an application made by the Federal Republic of Germany on 14 May 1990 and ordered on 3 February 1988, is intended for the measurement from aircraft of the distribution by size of ice droplets and crystals and for determining the quantity of water vapour in clouds.
