Research Project Liaison with Standardization Committees

Ongoing FP7 projects with an interest in standardization can link with European Technical Committees in relevant fields through 'Project Liaison'

CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, authorizes the Standardization Technical Committees to conclude 'Project Liaisons' with ongoing FP7 projects. This allows a project representative to participate in Technical Committees and relevant Working Group meetings as observer, without decision power. This 'Project Liaison' facilitates FP7 projects to give input and exchange expertise on relevant standardization work at the European level. A simple screening of the Technical Committees can give a good indication of what standardization work of interest to FP7 projects is ongoing at European level (eg energy, nanotechnology, environment, construction) Some conditions apply.
