ELSO 2003
ELSO - European Life Scientist Organization was launched to work in parallel with the existing national and international societies. Its primary goal is to organize meetings in European cities, which each year provide a high profile international forum serving the interests of our scientific community. Its defining characteristic is the promotion of the science and the activities of biologists using molecular tools without consideration for national interests. The highlight of the meeting will be the poster sessions taking place in the midst of the scientific exhibition. The scientific exhibition is planned to become the prime opportunity for the industry to present its products to the European scientific community. A major goal of the meeting is to stimulate and promote mobility and scientific collaboration in Europe. Another important function will be to promote the public understanding of new developments in the life sciences and to provide a critical forum for discussing their implications for society.Furthermore ELSO will play an active role in shaping European research policies in the molecular life science area.
