Technology transfer seminar targets statisticians

The European Commission (EUROSTAT and the Institute for Systems, Informatics and Safety, Joint Research Centre, Ispra) is organizing the "Exchange of Technology and Know-how" conference (ETK'99) in Prague, Czech Republic, between 13 and 15 October 1999.
ETK'99 will provide a forum for discussion of:
- The results of past efforts and research, their relevance and their transferability;
- Methods for efficient and effective technology transfer;
- Strategies for future actions.
ETK'99 will largely be organized as a series of demonstration of new tools and methods for the production and processing of statistics.
