Risc-Kit Consortium Final Conference

The RISC-KIT Consortium will host a special final conference event to mark the end of the project to discuss the latest developments in the area of coastal storm preparedness and disaster risk reduction.

5 April 2017 - 7 April 2017
Delft, Netherlands
The RISC-KIT Consortium will host a special conference event to mark the end of the RISC-KIT project. The conference will bring together researchers from the RISC-KIT project and others, to discuss the latest developments in the area of coastal storm preparedness and disaster risk reduction.

The main objective of the RISC-KIT project was to develop methods, tools and management approaches to reduce risk and increase resilience to low-frequency, high-impact hydro-meteorological events in the coastal zone. These products would enhance forecasting, prediction and early warning capabilities, improve the assessment of long-term coastal risk and optimise the mix of prevention, mitigation and preparedness measures.

The conference is scheduled to take place in Delft, Netherlands, from 5 to 7 April 2017.

More information will follow soon. In the meantime you can register your interest in taking part by emailing info@risckit.eu.
