ERC Turkey Conference, Istanbul, Turkey

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) is organising an event entitled 'ERC Turkey Conference: the first ERC grant laureates and referees sharing their experiences' on 13 March in Istanbul, Turkey.

The aim of this event is to bring together successful ERC (European Research Council) grant laureates and ERC panellists to share their insight with researchers from all over Europe.

In talks and roundtable discussions, the following topics will be addressed:
- 'Frontier research through ERC grants';
- 'Research careers in the European Research Area, the role of candidate states';
- 'The first ERC Advanced Grant laureates share their experience';
- 'Promoting excellence at national level';
- 'Through the path of excellence towards the Advanced Grant: one of the first Starting Grant laureates';
