'International symposium on ultrasound in the control of industrial processes', Madrid, Spain
Ultrasonics is a term for the application of ultrasound. It is often used in industry as a shorthand term for any equipment employing ultrasonic principles. For example, ultrasonic technology has been historically used by the steel industry to help with flaw detection and wall thickness measurement. Today, ultrasound is used in many fields ranging from industrial applications as the petrochemical industry to bio-medical applications, such as a non-invasive diagnostic tool and food science or acoustic microscopy.
The conference will cover novel applications of ultrasound with new insights in the ultrasonic characterization of media and advances in ultrasonic measuring systems. For further information, please visit: http://www.ucip2012.net/
