An event entitled ''International symposium on ultrasound in the control of industrial processes' will take place from 18 to 20 April 2012 in Madrid, Spain.
Ultrasonics is a term for the application of ultrasound. It is often used in industry as a shorthand term for any equipment employing ultrasonic principles. For example, ultrasonic technology has been historically used by the steel industry to help with flaw detection and wall thickness measurement.
