Joint ventures in Eastern Europe: Opportunities in the EC JOPP programme

The UK Institute of European Trade and Technology (IETT) is organizing a one-day conference on "Joint ventures in Eastern Europe: Opportunities in the EC JOPP programme". It will take place in London on 21 April 1995.

The conference will provide full details of the JOPP programme, a PHARE instrument set up specifically to provide funding for the creation of joint ventures with East European companies.

Conference topics will include:

- Programme structure, application and selection criteria;
- The role of financial intermediaries;
- Update on other PHARE programmes;
- Opportunities for joint ventures through other aid organizations such as EBRD and EIB;
- Case studies of successful JOPP projects.

The conference will be of particular interest to SMEs and other organizations throughout Europe, financial intermediaries, investment promotion agencies, and local and regional development organizations.
