Workshop on efficient electric appliances in the domestic and office sectors

The Austrian Ministry for Economic Affairs is organizing a workshop entitled "Efficient electric appliances in the domestic and office sectors". The workshop, organized within the framework of the Community's SAVE programme, will be held in Vienna on 12-13 October 1995.
Topics covered during the workshop will include:
- Efforts to improve energy efficiency in the European Union: a presentation of the Community's SAVE programme (DG XVII);
- Results of SAVE studies;
- Empirical results for Austria;
- Strategies, programmes and human behaviour.
The workshop will also include a panel discussion on the theme "Efficient appliances - Who is to act and who is to pay?".
