Use of the Internet in education - IN-TELE
The theme of the conference will be "Educational uses of the Internet and the construction of European identity". The aim is to present and discuss educational and scientific research and to bring together information technologies vendors, educational authorities and users.
The organizers have issued a call for proposals for papers, presenting research or integrative reviews, to be given at the conference. The following topics are to be covered, in which papers may be submitted:
- Educational uses of the Internet (advantages and disadvantages);
- Internet-based construction of social identity;
- Representations of the Internet: Expectations and fears;
- National experiences and differences;
- Differences between users with Internet-based teaching and learning experiences and those with traditional education;
- Learning with Hypermedia;
- Lifelong learning;
- Partnerships between educational structures;
- Educational projects with multimedia industries, editors and users;
- Exchanges and partnerships resulting from the dynamic created by the European Community.
