Women in Academia - Conference on Gender Equality

The research environements are unable to attract, develop and retain female researchers. This means that the pool of talent is not optimally utilised and that research misses out on talented scientist.
Focus will be on the barriers, international experience and best practice from a number of research environments.
Topics at the conference are:
- Life and work balance
- Coaching and mentoring
- Recruitment and retainment
- Gender budgetting
The conference targets decision-makers, heads of units, researchers and HR staff in research environments.
This conference is organized by 'frAU' - Female Researchers at Aarhus University, in collaboration with MEP Britta Thomsen (PSE).Further information and registration at http://www.wia.au.dk/
