Registration to the final ICT VentureGate Brokerage event in Rome, Italy

A shared Plenary Session on "Funding and Business development” will highlight the first day. This will be preceded by coaching of the ICT SMEs by European experts on how to prepare and polish the company's business pitch and project presentations. Time will also be set for networking and meetings.
The second day will be opened by a panel comprising representatives from the EC, the Investor community, SMEs, the IPR Helpdesk, ERRIN, the European Regions Research and Innovation Network; EACI, the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation and ICT VentureGate. It will discuss "How we can create an effective complementarily between public and private funding to help ICT SMEs grow rapidly."
It is to be followed by presentations of project ideas by the SMEs that are to be selected after expert evaluation of pre-submitted ideas. Subsequently, a networking session among investors and SMEs will take place, with face-to-face meetings for promoting follow-up and project uptake.
Registrants to the Brokerage Event will thus have a privileged access to promising projects in advanced ICT technologies, and will be able to join discussion on challenges of private equity financing of R&D results and ICT investment ideas.
This event will also present attendees with the opportunity to learn about the ICT VentureGate project and what it can do for them. This FP7 project, aims to facilitate financing of ICT SMEs to commercialise the results of their R&D, in particular such stemming from participation in the European Union’s Framework Programmes.
ICT VentureGate is a partner in ICT Finance MarketPlace cluster, the other two being ACCESS-ICT led by EBAN (the European Trade Association of Business Angels, Seed Funds and other Early Stage Investors) and YMIR led by TESEO.
