Workshop for regulators and policy-makers on chemical exposure assessment

The 4FUN project is proud to present a half-day workshop to demonstrate the principles and capability of the MERLIN-Expo tool, which represents the state-of-the-art modelling framework for chemical exposure predictions. The workshop is aimed at regulators and regulatory specialists involved in policy-making, risk assessment and risk management.

17 September 2015 - 17 September 2015
Belgium

This workshop will be held in the afternoon of 17 September 2015, in Brussels.

MERLIN-Expo software is an easy-to-use tool which incorporates advanced models simulating the fate of chemicals in the environment and human body. MERLIN-Expo incorporates a thorough analysis of uncertainty and sensitivity. MERLIN-Expo is supported by CEN compliant model documentation and has been successfully tested against existing methodologies for exposure assessment.

In this workshop, you will see applications of the tool to case studies in the areas of contaminants in water, air, soil and biota systems, as well as in the human body. The workshop will be hosted by highly regarded experts in the areas of modelling environmental fate, human exposure, pharmacokinetics and environmental risk assessment of chemicals.
