Course: How to prepare a successful Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network application, Copenhagen

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions gives you the opportunity to create training networks across countries and sectors. The networks let early stage researchers expand their skills and training in Europe and globally. Learn how to meet the requirements at our course in Copenhagen the 8 November 2016.

Course content
The course will focus on the forthcoming call within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, particularly the call for Innovative Training Networks (ITN) in 2016-17. We will particularly focus on how to apply for international training networks and cooperation between sectors and disciplines. ITNs are established between two or more partners, depending on the type of network, with the possibility of recruiting up to 15 early stage researchers for their excellent research training within the project.

Output
The course will prepare you for the application process, giving you knowledge of the evaluation criteria and how to approach them. We will work actively with the requirements in the proposal for ITN and with examples and experiences from the last call.

You will learn about the opportunities for creating new research networks and cooperation between countries with the aim of strengthening European research, boosting the job-opportunities of the researchers.

- Knowledge about requirements in the application – criteria for beneficiaries and the evaluation process
- Experiences from former calls and successful applicants.

Pre- or Post-Award
Pre-Award. The course is relevant for the proposal writing phase.

Course form
We combine presentations with exercises which expand your knowledge and chance to write a successful proposal. Your active participation is required.

Attendance
The maximum number of participants is 25.

Language
The course will be held in English. If all participants are Danish-speaking, the course will however be held in Danish.

Course material
You will receive comprehensive course material. It is compiled in a way that will be useful to you as reference documents during the preparation of your project proposal.

Cancellation
Deadline for cancellation is 14 days before the course. After this date registration is binding and the registration fee will be colleted regardless. However, you are welcome to send a substitute in your place, if you are unable to attend.
