The Sixth European Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning will be held from 20 to 23 September 2011 in Palermo, Italy.

This year's conference will feature the theme 'Towards ubiquitous learning'. A ubiquitous learning environment is any setting in which students can become totally immersed in the learning process. So, a ubiquitous learning environment is a situation or setting of pervasive or omnipresent education or learning. Education is happening all around the student but the student may not even be conscious of the learning process.

The event will be an opportunity for researchers, practitioners and policymakers involved with technology-enhanced learning from Europe and elsewhere to meet and exchange views on current challenges and advances in the field.

The conference programme is being organised around keynote speeches, demonstrations, workshops and project meetings. A doctoral consortium will also be organised concurrently with the workshops. For further information, please visit: http://www.ec-tel.eu/conference(opens in new window)
