A Commission open invitation to tender for three studies on air pollution (part of the Community's policy on industrial emission control and to complete a number of tasks arising out of the Community's regulatory work in this field) concerns: - Development of a methodology and a computer model for the forecasting of air pollution emissions from fixed sources; - Development of a Community strategy for reducing emissions of SO2 and NOx into the atmosphere; - Study of the feasibility of using economic instruments to reduce emissions of organic solvents from small fixed sources and products. Studies must be completed within one year of signature of the contract. However, in the case of fixed source forecasting, several successive contracts will be awarded as total study duration is estimated at three years. Documents relevant to the submission of tenders may be obtained from: Commission of the European Communities Directorate-General for the Environment, Nuclear Safety and Civil Protection Emissions from Industrial Installations and Products Unit 200 rue de la Loi B-1049 Brussels Tel. +32-2-2990415 (Mr. N.
