Development of innovative manufacturing technologies for reducing process chain

Objective

New manufacturing technologies have brought some advantages, lowering the environmental impact and improving the work ambience of the machining processes. Many research efforts have been spent in this way, but unfortunately some of these new technologies have remained without industrial applications. So, for this reason, insufficient advantages have been made in improving the industrial manufacturing process, and the exploitation of results has always been a great problem for the research activity. To overcome these problems, the aim of this project is to set up a whole, high-productive, reliable and quality oriented process; able to increasingly develop the most innovative machining processes, and to fit them in one innovative manufacturing process chain for one component that will be widely used in the automotive industry.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
