Objective
Main outcome of the project is summarised as follows: A software package was produced (ADAPT Tools, including support systems: D7.3-D7.5) for training designers, to support analysis, design, personalised implementation, and evaluation of training for complex skills. The support systems include an on-line advisor, a familiarisation training, a help system, and a handbook. Documentation describing the tools (documents associated to the D7.3-D7.5 software deliverables) and the method (D3.2). Documentation describing the identified needs of the designers (D2.2) and the Tool and Method requirements (D3.1 D3.3 D5.6 D6.3). Documentation describing the validation activities (products and and results) on the use of the ADAPT Method and Tool, considering both the design process (D5.1-D5.7) resulting training (D6.1-D6.4) as well as compliance to standards (D8.6).
The ADAPT Tool and Method has been applied operationally in two safety critical domains, Air Traffic Control and Aircraft Maintenance training, using critical training designers and demanding trainees. In both domains, positive effects were found, both on the training design as well of the resulting training. Documentation supporting dissemination and exploitation: final reports for the end-user community (D9.2) as well as for the scientific community (D9.3) a dissemination and use plan (D9.1) PR materials (D1.4 D9.6) focussing on reference to the ADAPTIT web site (www.adaptit.org) and a workshop for interested parties outside the project (D9.4). Other deliverables are managerial or intermediate reports or supportive to the main outcomes. All deliverables but three, have been provided as expected, often in combined reports. D5.3 D6.3 D7.1 deliverables have been cancelled for planning reasons.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
