SSHOC overall communication and outreach plan

Definition of target audiences, research/industry/policy information needs; event planning & attendance; media outreach; synergies with related ESFRI initiatives, means for monitoring and measuring outcomes and impact. This document will report on the branding & identity of the project and web platform development to facilitate the communities engagement and exploitation of the assets.

Report on challenges user communities face when attempting to contribute to SSHOC

This report focuses on shared and community-specific challenges, inventories their tech requirements and feeds back to other WPs.

Database with the metadata of surveys to EMMs across Europe

This database and its purpose is described in T9.2. Ethnic and Migration Studies: Component a) Making data Findable: surveys to EMMs across Europe. Component b) Coordination with WP3 to pilot inclusion of ethnic and migrant minority survey data in the European Question Bank

Design of Knowledge Graph

This design specifies the development of the knowledge graph (coordinated with WP3), including the stages of development of taxonomy and ontology.

Certification plan for SSHOC repositories

D8.2 will create a certification plan for the SSHOC repositories, including an overview of the certification T9.2 status as well as the certification goal for each repository.

Building expertise strategy

Comprehensive strategy for the WP6 training activities, including assignment of specific activities to partners and KPIs

Specification of the new features of the Aïoli platform

After consultation with the ERIHS partners (CNR, DAI, FORTH), a detailed specification of the required new features (Traceability of the multi-users 3D annotation process, RDF based architecture for controlled vocabularies) will be established.

Inventory of SSH citation practices, and choice for SSHOC citation formats and implementation planning

This deliverable pertains to task 3.4 under responsibility of CNRS (Huma-Num). Specification of a common SSHOC citation format(s) and providing a timeline for planning the development and enabling of citation and semantic annotation functions for selected SSH catalogues.

Inventory of existing learning materials

Overview of existing sources for training material and analysis of the kind of material offered with respect to format as well as topic/subject coverage.

First Annual Progress & Activity Report

Periodic report presenting the project's progress in the first 12 months; completed and planned activities, and financial expenditure of the project partners (beneficiaries and LTPs). An updated version will be delivered every six (6) months.

Demarcation Report

This report (coordinated with WP6) demarcates the user community Election Studies and actors therein and segments thereof to be contacted, recruited and trained for active collaboration in co-production of knowledge graph. It also inventories existing data, publications, services, existing and related taxonomies, ontologies and controlled vocabularies, and tools to be targeted, used, reused, adapted for the production of the knowledge graph.

Community engagement strategy

Comprehensive strategy for the WP6 engagement activities, including assignment of specific activities to partners and KPIs.

Implementation plan for the archaeological case study

Plan for the software module for entering and storing the data, based on community input and findings and implementations from project partners, and new functionality.

System specification

Document delivered by T7.1 describing the user requirements identified, the conceptual model and its relation to SSHOC reference ontology, as well as the overall system architecture with description of all internal and external components and their dependencies.

User-community involvement plan

Report detailing the design and implementation of crowd-contribution activities to the development of the Knowledge Graph (in collaboration with WP6).

Project Management Plan

The core management handbook and structure that will provide guidelines for the project management and the project members to follow during the full cycle of the project. The handbook will set out the governance, project calendar, cluster and work package description and reporting roles and responsibilities for all partners. Moreover, it will define the communication mechanisms for the project's partners and the templates for reporting and formal communication of the project's activities and outcomes.

Report on the SSHOC Training network (first iteration)

Report on the first iteration of the SSHOC trainer network.

Report on SSHOC (meta-) data interoperability problems

This deliverable pertains to task 3.5 under responsibility of CESSDA/FSD. An inventory of data and metadata interoperability problems, choices for SSHOC recommended formats, priorities for providing conversion services and planning solutions.

Quality Assurance & Risk Assessment Plan

The deliverable will incorporate details on the quality assurance processes by defining all activities and instruments to be used for the regular quality monitoring and risk assessment of the project in the form of a handbook for project partners.

Detailed specification of the sample management system

This detailed specification will be delivered after consultation with the main survey infrastructures in the SSH. It will precisely detail the functions and constraints to which the SMS should respond.

Guidelines for building survey-specific corpora

Report setting out guidelines for building bilingual corpora of survey questions.

SSHOC train-the-trainer toolkit (draft)

Preliminary iteration of the SSHOC train-the-trainer toolkit, to be revised after the feedback received during the Train-the-trainer Bootcamps.

SSHOCro beta version

The first version (beta) of the SSHOC Reference Ontology will be provided in RDF encoding for testing.

Policy API tool

The working API tool and a user guide for survey infrastructures and independent researchers.

Audio Survey Modules

The questionnaire and fieldwork guidelines for the implementation of the Audio Survey Modules.

Survey specific parallel corpora

Database in an open-access repository, e.g. CLARIN, of survey questions aligned at the sentence level.

Data Management Plan - DMP

SSHOC policy with regards to the data management will be documented. The project is in line with the European Commission’s approach towards research data which is “as open as possible, as closed as needed”. The research underlying the project publications will be made available under the conditions of the Creative Commons open license.
