Kick-off meeting project report

Presentation and examination of the project time schedule, activities and tasks, as well as deliverables by taking into account the overall project structure, partners’ roles, costs and Gantt chart of the project. Indicator of success will be the demonstrated ability of each partner in the consortium to manage the project tasks and commitments according to a focused and understandable approach.

Project’s Stationery

This deliverable aims to present the stationery produced for the XPRESS Project which will be used for formal communication purposes. It includes, among others: logo and the Brand Guidelines; templates to support the communication and reporting of the project such as deliverable and template; folders and letterhead paper for workshops and events; etc..

Management and Quality Plan

The Project Management and Quality Plan will enclose all the required information needed to adopt a smooth and efficient management of the project from the administrative and budgetary points of view. Through revision of project progresses and reports to the EC the Management and Quality Plan will be implemented to all project procedures (data, reporting, dissemination and communication activities, etc.) in order to ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001 and 14001).

XPRESS Interactive Portal

This deliverable aims at explaining the structure and functionalities of the XPRESS ́ portal including the sitemap, interactions and interfaces. Indicator for success: Analysis of the XPRESS tool to collect key information about existing and potential new GPP projects and to share information with potential new agents

XPRESS dataset

Description: This deliverable aims to describe the characteristics of SMEs, Public authorities and projects, for the various countries involved in the XPRESS project, secondary source dataset collected from national databases on GPP projects. Indicator for success: key information on the interaction between innovative SMEs and Public authorities on existing and past GPP projects.

Initial Analysis of the barriers to investments in innovative RES

In task 3.1, the data collected within WP2 is analysed with a view to identifying strategies, drivers and barriers of green procurement with respect to the involvement of innovative SMEs. The analysis presented in deliverable D3.1 follows the principle of triangulation, combining the insights obtained from case studies, database research as well as a quantitative survey. This approach provides several angles on the central issue, and combines the perspectives from both the public purchasers and the suppliers. Deliverable D3.1 will contribute to strengthening the conceptual foundation of the project, providing the basis for developing a number of main assumptions and hypotheses about the challenges with and opportunities for stimulating RES uptake through SME friendly GPPs. These assumptions and hypotheses will in turn provide useful input to both the stakeholder café’s and policy co-creation workshops during the second half of the project period. Framework definition and recommendations

Description: this deliverable is focused on presenting the preliminary activities needed to define the goals and the data collection methods that are the first step for the environmental, economic and social assessments. Indicator for success: Feedback from XPRESS partners and relevant stakeholders on the methodological clarity and completeness of the data collected.

Dataset for good practice examples

Description: This deliverable provides a description of the secondary source datasets collected on past and existing GPP projects to support the sustainability assessment based on the life-cycle approach (LCA-Life Cycle Assessment, LCC-Life Cycle Cost, SLCA-Social Life Cycle Assessment) which is the core for the analysis in WP4. Indicator for success: key information needed as input for implementing the LCA analysis.

Report on dissemination activities M1-12

This report describes the promotional and dissemination activities conducted during the first year of the project. It provides an overview of different tools used for communication and promotional purposes, new materials/tools created during this period, overall dissemination performance in the different channels, among other relevant results such as participation in events and publications.

Initial Multivariate Statistical Analysis

The deliverable provides analysis on the causal impact of GPPs on innovative SMEs financial constraints and how LCA of RES-technologies influence financing conditions. Indicator for success: Results from the multivariate analysis are available and a discussion containing the results is published and made available to a broader audience.

Initial assessment of the RES innovations and GPPs on SMEs financial constraints

Description: Based on data collected in WP2 this deliverable provides a descriptive, univariate assessment on how RES innovations and GPPs affect SMEs financial constraints and help local governments implementing their needs for RES innovations. Indicator for success: Feedback from XPRESS partners and relevant stakeholders on the statistical analysis of the impact of RES innovations and GPPs on SMEs access to finance.
