REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING AND SPECIFICATION IN TELEMATICS

Objective

The main purpose of RESPECT is to provide the EU telematics projects with a methodology for specification of user requirements so that these can be comprehensively identified and defined. A second objective is to consolidate existing methods for the specification of user needs and the capacity for use into a framework and procedural methodology. Cost-effective methods will be selected from industry, and applicable to general and special user groups. Both objectives will be achieved by means of a methodology handbook, joint meetings, feedback from selected projects for methods validation and project consultancy.
