Objetivo A mathematical model will be developed in this research project, which deals particularly with the post-combustion zone and iron bath parameters, leading to the development of a reaction model of mass balances and kinetics. Numerical combustion modelling will be used to compute velocity and concentration fields of the gases in combination with temperature and heat transfer profiles.
