Objetivo

It is the aim of the project to study the characteristics of the coke at each stage between the coke ovens and the blast furnace hearth. The work will include the development of a model by which the permeability of the lower part of the blast furnace can be controlled from the coking plant thus integrating it into the blast furnace operation. An economic optimisation of the whole operation will be carried out.
