Objetivo
The increasing use of technology in the work world and competitiveness between enterprises accentuates the need for continuous training for workers. The goal of this pilot project is to create a flexible training system to facilitate access to these new technologies, without affecting the normal operations of the enterprise during the initiation period. The project aims to design a new method of flexible continuing and long-distance vocational training using multimedia technology resources, to create a multimedia resource centre model and provide specialised trainers who can show how the resources can be used.
At first, NEWFORMAD will analyse the individual needs of each partner country and create a training model. The second step will be to design the necessary materials and a training programme for long-distance trainers, using multimedia technology. The last step will be to initiate pilot training simultaneously in the participating countries.
The ensuing products will integrate technological advances and the tutors will be free to design their own training material. Each partner can choose how to transmit this information.
Impact
NEWFORMAD will improve the qualifications and skills of workers, as well as the productivity of enterprises.
